After entering the cold winter, due to the impact of low temperature artificial turf on the morning and night will freeze. 1、Generally, when the sun comes out, the freezing will melt naturally and evaporate cleanly, which will not affect the artificial turf and the sportsmen. 

2. If you want to use the pitch before the freezing naturally melts, you can use a heavy-duty roller to crush the ice on the artificial turf and then clear the broken ice from the pitch. In the presence of sun and the ice is not too thick, the crushed ice will also melt quickly. If only crushing and not cleaning, the impact is not big, you can according to the freezing conditions and sports demand discretion.

3、If the frozen ice is thicker, you need to use chemicals to assist melting. However, the use of snowmelt on artificial turf will leave some chemical residue, so in the case of weather permitting also need to rinse the site. A more common method is to sprinkle urea to help melt frozen ice. Usually the frozen ice will melt after half an hour of sprinkling urea. The melted ice is then cleaned off with a washing machine, rubber cleaner, sweeper, etc. It should be noted that heavy equipment should not be parked on the ground for a long time, otherwise it will damage the artificial turf.
